About RAPAC

The REALTORS® of Arizona Political Action Committee (RAPAC) is a membership-sponsored effort organized to financially support candidates running for state and local office whose position on real estate regulation and a free-market business environment most closely represents the initiatives of the Arizona Association of REALTORS®. RAPAC contributes to and channels resources into races that will have the most impact on the real estate industry. The PAC is a voluntary, non-profit political action committee and operates independently of any political party.

RAPAC is a vital part of the Arizona Association of REALTORS® Government Affairs program-a program that includes professional lobbying, legislative analysis, grassroots contacts, and long-term political relationships. RAPAC strives to educate legislators about our industry and guarantees that no decision is made that will affect our industry, good or bad, until our voice is heard.

Our 2023 Goal

PAAR’s 2023 RAPAC goal, as directed from NAR, is $41,031.00. We are asking each PAAR agent to contribute $35 this year to RAPAC – that is less than $3 per month, and less than your morning coffee. Each PAAR Broker is asked to contribute $99 to RAPAC.

Why is it important to invest in RAPAC?

Through RAPAC, REALTORS® raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support their interests. The money to accomplish this comes from voluntary contributions made by REALTORS®, given freely in recognition of how important campaign fundraising is to the political process. RAPAC enables REALTORS® to support candidates who care about the issues that are important to their profession and livelihood.

By investing in RAPAC, you take an active role in defeating policies that would threaten our industry and take money from your pocket. There’s no easier way to protect your livelihood. And there is no investment that will provide you a greater return.

How can I invest in RAPAC?

Investing in RAPAC is simple. You can give directly through the member portal on paar.org or you may call PAAR at 928-445-2663. Another great way to participate with RAPAC is to attend RAPAC events.
