PAAR Presents Suzanne Westrum as CEO

Dear PAAR Membership,

We are excited and proud to announce the appointment of Suzanne Westrum as PAAR CEO, effective Monday, May 24, 2021.

Before coming to PAAR, Suzanne has held a senior leadership position with the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) in San Antonio, Texas. She joined SABOR in 2012 as communications director and was soon promoted to the role of vice president of communications and marketing. As a member of SABOR’s senior staff, she participated in strategic organizational planning, worked alongside the board of directors and directed the staff in developing and deploying strategies to support and enhance the operations and long-term strategic goals of the association. She was charged with developing and executing the overall communications strategy for the association’s 13,000 members as well as oversight of staff for communications, events and business development. She also worked closely with local, state and national media to elevate the REALTOR® brand in the South Texas region. She facilitated the association’s leadership development program for upcoming REALTOR® leaders and she helped lead the association in winning the Governmental Affairs Outstanding Achievement Award from Texas REALTORS®, awarded annually to an association that has demonstrated excellence in fundraising, grassroots involvement, and other local initiatives for the year.

Prior to her work in the REALTOR® association, Suzanne worked with several non-profits where she managed media relations, constituent communications and other special projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in public relations. She also holds the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) and REALTORS® Certified Executive (RCE) designations. She is a graduate of the Alex Briseño Leadership Development Program with the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Among her other accolades, she has been published in REALTOR® AE magazine and presented numerous times on association best practices with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). She has held leadership positions, including president-elect, with the San Antonio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and she was elected by her peers as vice chair of NAR’s Communication Directors. She has also served as a member of NAR’s Member Communications Committee.

This is what Suzanne had to say about joining PAAR: “I am honored to join the PAAR team and represent the association at a local, state and national level. The growth of the Prescott area and its surrounding region makes this an exciting time to be part of the real estate community. I look forward to being a part of leading PAAR as it continues to play an integral role for our members who are dedicated to building a stronger community.”

PAAR is in a great position, and we are confident that Suzanne will continue moving the association forward. Her previous leadership experience and commitment to this industry make her uniquely qualified to lead PAAR.

Sincerely

Tina Seeley
