Bylaws and Important Office Changes
Good Afternoon REALTORS. First, I want to thank all our members who joined us for today’s Bylaws Vote and Wake Up Call. All of the revisions passed, which means we will be adding two additional officer Positions to our Board of Directors: a First Vice President and an Assistant Treasurer. Additionally, we will be adding three directors: an Appraiser Director, a Commercial Director and a Property Management Director. Applications for these positions and the previously existing open positions have been emailed out earlier today and are available on our web site here. PAAR Leadership and staff are excited about the future of PAAR and we hope that you will consider joining us as part of our volunteer leadership in 2018.
Second, I want to make an important announcement about some upcoming changes to the format of our office hours beginning July 5 when we return from the Fourth of July holiday. These changes are being made to reduce wait times and allow us to have the ideal staff in place to best assist all our members at all times. As always, our operating hours will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; however, we will only be offering key and lockbox services during certain hours each day and encourage members who need assistance with their key or lockbox to make an appointment.
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday Key and Lockbox services will be available from 9 a.m. – Noon.
- Tuesday and Thursday Key and Lockbox services will be available from 1 – 4 p.m.
- Any Key or Lockbox services needed outside of the new Key and Lockbox hours will be available by appointment only.
In addition to the new Key and Lockbox service hours, all new members will be required to wait 24-hours before they can get a Key or Lockbox issued. This change is necessary because without a waiting period the present membership system does not have time to correctly create the new members account within Supra, which is resulting in errors in member records, which can cause glitches with the keys and lockboxes themselves.
New Members will also need to make an appointment when they are ready to have their new membership application processed. This will allow new members to get the service they deserve and reduce waiting times for all our members. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to work with us as we continue to enhance our services and work to serve our members more efficiently and effectively.
